Rumor Has It: Beyoncé and Jay Z to Headline TIDAL Charity Concert in NYC

Jay Z and Beyoncé are reportedly planning a massive concert event in New York on October 15th in a joint collaboration between Tidal the Robin Hood Foundation.

Jay and Bey will perform, as well as Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill and Lil Wayne, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The event — for which tickets will start at $50, with some VIP packages going up to $100,000 — will raise money for Robin Hood, education for children in NYC and for charities nominated by the artists. The event will also be streamed live on Tidal.

Robin Hood fights poverty and funds educational programs in New York’s poorest areas. Its board includes Paul Tudor Jones, David Einhorn, David Tepper and Katie Couric.

If the show is really happening, we’re sure to hear more about it within the next few days.
