A lot of us grew up on this educational TV show, and now the children of our generation can too!
On Tuesday, Levar Burton created a kickstarter campaign to raise $1 million to create Reading Rainbow 2.0, an online version of the popular 90s program that celebrates reading.
In just 24 hours, the television host surpassed his monetary goal, having currently made $1.8 million. Now children will be able to learn about new and popular old books, with just an internet connection.
Burton also has plans to create a classroom version of the show, offering it to low-income schools for free.
