Ray J called into New York’s Hot 97 radio station to discuss his new single, “I Hit It First“. He tells listeners that despite the obvious single artwork and the even more obvious lyrics, the song isn’t about Kim Kardashian. He says:

It’s a song, it’s not about that, it’s about a concept. People going way too deep.
