Quavo Talks Saweetie, Says ‘She Speaks for the Pretty College Girls’ Who ‘Don’t Have to Be a Stripper’

Migos rapper Quavo shared a bit about his new Triller music competition series, ‘Step Up to the Mic’ and used the opportunity gas up his girlfriend, fellow rapper Saweetie.

While discussing the upcoming social-media showdown, the new grad gushed — just a bit — over the talent of his fellow-rapper girlfriend, praising the 26-year-old Bay Area native for showing young fans that there’s nothing wrong with avoiding the tropes many have come to expect from women in hip-hop today.

“I think she’s bringing something very special to the game,” Quavo, 29, told PageSix of the “My Type” artist. “She speaks for the pretty college girls that are taking the regular route. You don’t have to be a stripper, you don’t have to be a bartender, you don’t have to take the Instagram model route.”

“I feel like she’s speaking for those nice, teenage girls who listen to their parents and go to school.”

Saweetie — who just so happens to be actress Gabrielle Union’s cousin — is gearing up for the release of her new album, “Pretty Bitch Music.”

“She’s ready, she’s grown as an artist,” the “My Life” rapper said regarding his partner’s upcoming work. “Y’all gonna see. I’m excited for her.”

We’re not exactly sure how “Eight-inch big, ooh, that’s good pipe / Bad b*tch, I’ma ride the dick all night” is speaking for those ‘nice, teenage girls’ — but go off, Quavo.
