‘Provider’ Nick Cannon Clarifies He Doesn’t Give His Kids’ or Their Moms a ‘Monthly Allowance’

Nick Cannon is offering up some clarification on exactly how he provides for his 12 kids and their mothers.

After calling himself a “provider” during a Monday interview with Hot 104.1, the “Masked Singer” host clarified that he doesn’t give a “monthly allowance” or “set amount” of money to the six women he has children with.

“I don’t give myself that [guideline],” the actor, 42, said. “What they need, they get it.”

Cannon continued, “There’s never been something that one of the mothers of my children has asked for and they didn’t receive.”

The “Wild ‘N Out” host has welcomed 12 children over the years — two with Mariah Carey, three with Brittany Bell, three with Abby De La Rosa, two with Alyssa Scott and one each with Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole.

The “All That” alum gushed over the “respect and admiration” he has for each parent.

“Everybody has their challenges – but when you really understand this woman has given the greatest sacrifice and sacrificed her body to bring a child into [this world], that’s the best gift any man could ask for,” he told listeners.

“Regardless of what goes on in any scenario … I’ll never say anything disrespectful or bad about any of the mothers of my children.”

In fact, the “Drumline” star recently gushed about Carey, whom he was married to from 2008 to 2016, telling The Shade Room that she is “not human.”

The former Nickelodeon star explained, “She’s the coolest person I’ve ever met. … She’s a gift from God.”

He praised the “remarkable” 54-year-old singer’s “delightful disposition,” noting that Carey is “always happy, always doing for others.”

Later in the interview, the rapper shared his regrets over not conceiving a baby with his ex-girlfriend Christina Milian when they were together in the early 2000s.

After welcoming Moroccan, Monroe, Golden, Powerful, Zillion, Zion, Legendary, Onyx, Rise, Beautiful and Halo — and losing son Zen to brain cancer at 5 months — Cannon is open to baby No. 13.

“I might [have more],” he admitted to Entertainment Tonight in February.

“God decides when we’re done, but I believe I definitely got my hands full,” Cannon explained. “I’m so focused. I’m locked in. But when I’m 85, you never know.”

If everyone is taken care of in the ways they need to be taken care of, who cares if it’s an ‘allowance’ or what.
