Piers Morgan has quit ‘Good Morning Britain.’
ITV released a statement, saying:
“Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
His departure comes in the wake of Meghan Markle and Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they highlighted the harassment the faced from the British tabloids.
In the days following, Piers tried to spew his anti-Meghan propaganda on ‘Good Morning Britain’ and got pushed ALL the way back not once — but twice.
Just hours before ITV announced Piers quit the show, Piers stormed off set after being held accountable for his actions by co-host Alex Beresford in defense of Harry and Meghan.
