Pharrell Williams celebrated yet another accomplishment on Friday night in New York City with the debut of his collaboration with G-Star Raw during New York Fashion Week.
In true Pharrell fashion, he created an eco-friendly denim line called Raw For The Oceans.
All of the outfits were made from Bionic Yarn were created using recycled materials, mostly plastics that washed up on the beaches across the world.
Not only have the plastic been gathered and removed from the areas it is damaging, but has also been recycled to create a completely new material.
Before the runway show, Pharrell toldĀ W Magazine: ‘Denim is one of the most cherished fabrics on Earth and we have created the next generation.’
