Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been dating for almost a year now, but details about how they first got together have been pretty hazy. Up until now, it was only known that they met at the Met Gala in September 2021, a month prior to her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut.

In the new episode of “The Kardashians,” the reality star finally told the story of how the pair connected after she went on the NBC show in October 2021, revealing that Megan Fox had blocked Davidson from contacting her sooner.
“After we got together and it was, like, a thing, Megan Fox texted me and [was] like, ‘Is this s–t for real?’” Kardashian said, adding that Fox — who is engaged to Davidson’s pal Machine Gun Kelly — told her the “SNL” alum had asked for her number “months ago.”
Fox then told Kardashian that she told Davidson, “Dude, you have a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles than you ever getting her number. Like, never going to happen. Do not ask us.”
Kardashian also revealed in this week’s episode that after their on-screen kiss, in which she felt a “vibe,” she reached out to producers asking for Davidson’s number.
“I wasn’t even thinking, like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m going to be in a relationship with him,’” she said. “I was just thinking, ‘Heard about this BDE [big d–k energy]. I need to get out there. I need to just, like, … jump-start my …’ I was just basically DTF [down to f–k].”
Kardashian, 41, also gushed about the comedian, 28, to her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian in the episode, telling them how happy she is with him.
“People always say, ‘Oh, he’s so funny and it has to do with how funny he is,’ but that’s, like, fourth on my list of why I like him,” Kim said. “[He] always wants the best for people, can handle anything, always does it with grace. He’s really, really thoughtful, humble and just so genuine. I would say the best word to describe Pete is genuine.”
And as for the BDE she was interested in experiencing? She was less than cryptic when she hinted in the episode that she was having the “best sex” of her life in her 40s.
Davidson and Kim were first linked when they were photographed holding hands on a ride at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, Calif., weeks after she hosted “SNL.” After more low-key date nights and spending the “King of Staten Island” star’s birthday together, Page Six exclusively confirmed they were dating.
Sources told us at the time, “She’s acting like a teenager. She’s constantly giggling. Pete has made her feel like the clock has moved 20 years back. She seems happy.”
Meanwhile, MGK, 32, was sidestepping questions about his friend’s blossoming relationship on red carpets at the time, simply saying, “No” when asked about Davidson and Kim.
Kim, who shares four kids with ex-husband Kanye West, has been less than quiet about her romance with Davidson in recent months, going Instagram-official in March and then making their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents dinner in April. Days later, they attended the Met Gala together — where Kim wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic Jean Louis gown.
Just this week, the loved-up couple were spotted in London grabbing dinner.
