Oh Really? Woman Who Got Shot at Her Own Gender Reveal Party Was NEVER Pregnant & LIED About Losing the Baby

Do you remember a few weeks ago when we shared a story about someone shooting up a gender reveal party in Ohio? At the time, it was reported that one of the 8 gunshot victims — a 21-year-old woman — lost her baby after getting transported to the hospital.

According to new updates, the woman LIED about being pregnant.

That’s right — she had a gender reveal party and was NEVER pregnant.

via NYDN:

Colerain Township Police Chief Mark Denney announced Monday that the woman, Cheyanne Willis, was not expecting a baby at the time of the party.

According to Cincinatti.com, authorities are still trying to determine why the 21-year-old woman was hosting the party if she was not pregnant.

“All we have at this point is speculation,” Denney said in a statement.

WCPO reports that police are going to let a prosecutor decide if Willis should face charges.

On July 8, two gunmen walked through the front door of a Capstan Drive home, where the party was being held, and fired 14 rounds while partygoers were watching a movie.

Eight people, including three children, were injured during the shooting. Autumn Garrett, 22 of Indiana, was killed. Willis, who made headlines in 2015 after she claimed she was beaten up by a group of girls, had told WCPO after being released from the hospital that she had lost her baby.

Investigators said because of Willis’ lie, and other false information they’ve received, police are having trouble figuring out what happened and who was responsible for the shooting.

“Hours and days have been wasted following leads known to be lies when they were provided to our officers,” Denney said. “From the very beginning of this investigation, we have met significant resistance that is uncommon from victims of a crime wanting a resolution.”

“The Colerain Police Department will not comment further on any other misleading information, other than to say we wish our time had been spent on true leads that would help us remove these dangerous criminals from the streets,” the statement continued. “Providing misleading information only makes the task of solving this crime more difficult.”

Police are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who has information that could help the case and lead to the arrests of the two gunmen.

We have SO many questions, but ol’ girl should DEFINITELY face charges.
