We knew the White House was out of its f*cking mind, but Trump & co. continue to prove that they’re completely out of touch with reality.
White House adviser Stephen Moore has now described COVID-19 protestors as the “modern-day Rosa Parks.”
“I call these people modern-day Rosa Parks,” he told The Washington Post. “They are protesting against injustice and a loss of liberties.”
He didn’t just make the half-baked comment once — used this comparison on several occasions while discussing the subject.
“It’s interesting to me that the right has become more the Rosa Parks of the world than the left is,” he said to CBS News. He was also quoted by The New York Times as saying: “We need to be the Rosa Parks here, and protest against these government injustices.”
He’s a member of President Trump’s back-to-work council and is involved with a coalition of conservative leaders called “Save Our Country” whose aim is to combat business shutdowns and stay-at-home orders during the coronavirus outbreak.
This is why the need to keep Black History in the schools. It’s clear Mr. Mooe has no clue what he’s talking about.
