Pepsi just debuted a controversial new ad in which Kendall Jenner ditches a photo shoot to join a cute boy at a protest…and she gives a police officer a can of soda.
In the ad, Kendall can be seen in the middle of a photo shoot wearing a blonde wig before ripping it off to join the multi-cultural group of protesters passing by.
Walking through the group, she grabs a Pepsi and hands it to a police officer monitoring the protest. His face breaks into a smile, and the crowd breaks into cheers.
If Kendall Jenner was Black the police would've thought the Pepsi can was a weapon & Dr. Pepper®-sprayed her in the eyes for resisting.

Kendall Jenner gives a Pepsi to a cop and rids the world of -isms. Y'all can go somewhere with this tone-deaf, shallow and over-produced ad. pic.twitter.com/CEr4cAw3Ld

I don’t fault Kendall for this.
This is all you @Pepsi.

"You don't get it, Chris. Roscoe and Andre 250 love it here. They're like part of the family!" pic.twitter.com/RPtcUwBvTC

They co-opted the Black Lives Matter movement, making a lame, tone-deaf commercial based on this photo. It's gross all around. pic.twitter.com/iVKLYDzWam

This is humiliating, terrifying, pathetic, and infuriating. How many dozens of people in the chain and NOBODY was like, "Yo… no."

Who's responsible. @Pepsi
