There are reports circulating the internet suggesting Beyoncé got paid just $4 million for her historic Coachella headlining set while Ariana Grande got paid $8 million for hers.
The numbers are accurate, but the reports have been misleading. Both ladies got paid the exact same amount.

According to our sources, the Grande number is accurate and Bey did get $4 million … for each show. We’re told the contracts for Grande and Beyoncé were structured exactly the same way — $4 million for the first weekend and another $4 million for the second.
Grande’s first performance last week featured appearances by Nicki Minaj and a Justin Timberlake-less *NSYNC.
Beyoncé commemorated her legendary Coachella 2018 show with both a Netflix documentary and a live album, both of which debuted this week.
And there you have it.
