We guess since Brandy’s locked in a legal battle with her label and can’t release music that she has a lot of free time on her hands these days.
Maybe a little TOO much free time.
The singer took to Snapchat to throw even MORE shade at Monica and whatever situation it is that they’re going through.
It’s been weeks since she first threw shade at Monica’s #SoGoneChallenge and several days since Monica said she was unbothered by it all — but clearly Brandy’s still bothered.
The singer took to Snapchat to get a few things off of her chest.
“I have to stay so positive I can say what I really feel, because I have to be so positive!” said Brandy.
“Back to normal!” she said before switching off the whimsical filter she was using prior. “Had to get that little [wee noise] off my chest. I just felt so attacked.”
She continued:
“I’ve been erasing and deleting and starting over because these streets. Very, very lit. Is everything fine? Yes, everything is OK. I just know that my calling is higher. I will not take credit for that. That’s all God, period.”
Brandy then alluded to ‘rising above’ her ‘battles’:
“I have to stay poised. I have to choose my battles. So I’m going to choose to inspire.”
She finished by urging others to “be the change you wish to see in the world,” with a hearty laugh and advised people “Don’t be shady.”
