Netflix Renews ‘Stranger Things’ for Season 3

In what should come as a surprise to no one, Netflix has officially greenlit ‘Stranger Things’ for a third season.

While Netflix doesn’t release viewership information, according to Nielsen, the first episode of the show’s second season drew an insane 15.8 million U.S. viewers in the first three days of release, with all nine new episodes averaging 4 million viewers over the three-day period.

This past year, ‘Stranger Things’ received 18 Emmy nominations and won five.

We wonder what else will be going down in the city of Hawkins next year. Hopefully Will’s mother can catch a break — because these kids keep her stressed.
