Missing ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera’s son was found sleeping and in “good health” when he was discovered alone on a boat after her disappearance.

Josey Hollis Dorsey, Rivera’s 4-year-old son with ex Ryan Dorsey, was still wearing a life jacket when he was recovered Wednesday from the vessel in Lake Piru, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Eric Buschow.
“He’s in good health. The family is going through a very traumatic time right now,” Buschow told reporters on Wednesday night.
Rivera had taken her son out on a platoon boat around 1 p.m. Wednesday for a day out on the lake, about 56 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
But around three hours later, a boat rental employee set out to look for them when they didn’t return at the end of their session, authorities said.
Search crews began “immediately” looking for the actress, who is now presumed to have drowned. Dyer said. No foul play is suspected in the case.“He found Ms. Rivera’s son on the boat and Ms. Rivera was nowhere to be found,” Deputy Chris Dyer said Thursday.
“I can’t stress enough that this seems like a tragic accident, come out here for a great day and something bad happens,” Dyer said.
Rivera’s son is currently in the custody of family members, some of whom were present Thursday for the recovery efforts, authorities said.
Shortly before her disappearance, Rivera shared a sweet photo on Instagram of her kissing her young son, writing, “just the two of us.”
In her 2016 memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry,” she called Josey “my greatest success, and I will never do any better than him.”
It has been reported that the search for Naya Rivera has shifted to a recovery mission, as it’s believed she drowned.
