“It just wasn’t what I wanted to do,” she told Insider in a story published on Monday.

“I didn’t feel like I could be the same Monique that people were accustomed to seeing anymore when it came to that particular franchise and that particular network, because there was so much toxicity there.”

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum, 38, added that she didn’t want to be involved on a show where she was “expected to bicker and argue with a bunch of women.”

“I’ve never watched any of the ‘Girls Trip’ shows that they do,” Samuels continued. “All I knew was at that time when Andy asked me, I just had no desire to be back on that network.”

Samuels didn’t clarify which season she was allegedly asked to star on, but the second season featured “Ex-Wives,” while the first and third – the latter of which recently wrapped filming – showcased current “Housewives” from different franchises.

Regardless of the season, the ex-Bravolebrity said it “doesn’t even matter,” because she simply “had no desire to go back to that network.”

“I just didn’t want to do it,” she doubled down.

The mom of three – who now stars on OWN Network’s reality show “Love & Marriage: DC” – insinuated that while filming “RHOP,” she had “to try to incorporate something new and fancy.”

“I’m grateful that he allowed us to just stay true to who we were,” she said of former “Real Housewives” producer Carlos King working on her new show.

The reality TV star recently admitted to Page Six that she “had reality TV PTSD.”

“My experience with reality TV has been somewhat of a roller coaster to the point where at the end of it all, I had reality TV PTSD,” Samuels told us in May. “And I was pretty much done.”

Samuels exited “RHOP” after four seasons in 2020. She eventually became a controversial cast member when she got into a physical fight with former co-star Candiace Dillard-Bassett.

Bravo didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
