The sit-down between the former talk show queen and Obama will be part of an upcoming television special, “First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House.” The interview is scheduled to air Dec. 19 on CBS, the network announced Monday, with a second run on Winfrey’s OWN on Dec. 21.

“During this exclusive interview in the first family’s private residence, topics will include details about life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and [Michelle Obama’s] eight years as first lady of the United States, the legacy she’ll leave behind, and her plans for the future,” CBS said in a news release.

Winfrey and Obama have maintained a close relationship over the years. Obama reportedly celebrated her 50th birthday in 2014 with a stay at Winfrey’s Hawaii abode. The two also paired up for a conversation about women’s empowerment at the United State of Women summit in Washington earlier this year.

This is something we can’t wait to watch.
