Megan Thee Stallion claims that record label 1501 Entertainment is preventing her from releasing new music. The Houston rapper spoke briefly on the matter in an Instagram live session earlier today (March 1). At one point, she said that she didn’t understand what was in her contract when she initially signed with the label, stating that certain details didn’t become clear to her until she signed with Roc Nation. She then claims that when she asked to renegotiate her contract with 1501, the label would not allow it.
“Soon as I said, ‘I want to renegotiate my contract,’ everything went left,” Megan said in the Instagram live session. “It just all went bad. It all went left. So now they’re tellin’ a bitch that she can’t drop no music.” Find a clip of Megan’s Instagram live session below.
