Beyoncé and Jay Z have a few nights of their On The Run tour under their belt and things are going pretty well. From pictures and videos uploaded to social media we’ve seen that the stadiums are packed and the show’s generally gone off without a hitch.

However, last night in Ohio Beyoncé did something questionable that has the whole Internet talking. During her performance of “Resentment,” she changed a few pretty significant lyrics that many believe to be referencing her husband’s loyalty.

The song itself is about a woman being cheated on, however the lyrics usually go:

“I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like your mistress could/Been ridin’ with you for six years […] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me.”

Last night, she switched it up to:

“I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like that wack bitch could/Been ridin’ with you for twelve years […] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me. She ain’t even half of me. That bitch will never be.

Now, keep in mind that she and Jay have been together for 12 years.

Beyoncé’s a smart woman and very intentional with her live performances, so we don’t think she just switched it up so passionately for no reason. Bey’s switched up a few lyrics before, but in the wake of the Solange/Jay Z elevator aftermath it’s easy for certain things to be perceived differently.

Watch the clip below and listen to the crowd’s reaction around the 3:15 mark. Do you think Bey’s dropping hints, or is it nothing?
