Mariah Carey sat down for a very candid interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez.
During the chat, she dished about her role as a judge on American Idol.
“Honestly, I thought it was gonna be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment,” said Mariah, who was paid a reported $18 million.
Her feud with fellow judge Nicki Minaj made numerous headlines, but when asked what it was like working on set, Mariah replied, “It was like going to work everyday in hell with Satan,” adding, “Nah, I’m just playing. It didn’t affect me that much. I was disappointed.”
