Fans will recognize him from House of Cards and her from Men in Black II, Rent, Seven Pounds, Top Five and the list goes on, but now Mahershala Ali and Rosario Dawson have joined Marvel’s Netflix series Luke Cage.
Mahershala will play Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, a New York nightclub owner and drug lord who becomes Luke’s foe, while Rosario will reprise her role as Daredevil character Claire Temple.
Theo Rossi and Simone Missick have also joined the cast.
All four join previously announced cast members Mike Colter and Alfre Woodard.
Luke Cage, which will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2016, “centers on a wrongly imprisoned man who gets super strength after a sabotaged experiment and escapes to become a superhero for hire.”
