Azealia Banks is NOT happy about Cardi B’s success and feels that colorism is responsible for making “Bodak Yellow” the first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 by a solo female rapper since Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998.

In case you’ve been wondering where Azealia’s been, she’s been tweeting from behind this @XoCheapy account on Twitter.
Azealia spent the better part of her day blasting Cardi’s success while the rest of us felt the spirit of congratulations.
“I’m sorry. Black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I’ve never seen them jump like this for remy or nicki,” Azealia tweeted. “Spinning this ‘for the culture’ story when they are simply letting white men at Atlantic buy them into hating their own women.”
Someone diligently pointed out that Cardi B IS black, but Azealia responded with, “She’s only black when black want to include themselves in a success story.”
Let us remind you that Azealia had ALL the chances in the world to achieve Cardi’s level of success — or even higher.

she booked Glastonbury, Coachella and the Governors Ball. Her debut was supposed to solidify her name in the game, but she wanted to beef. pic.twitter.com/D6MYi6rFi2

Gaga, Kanye, Rihanna and Beyonce all wanted to work with her. What did she do? Beef with all of them. ?????
