Have Lil Wayne and the powers that be at Cash Money Records squashed their ongoing beef? Probably not, seeing that Lil Wayne was recently caught on tape blasting the label, but there is good news to report (at least for now).

According to The Jasmine Brand, Lil Wayne has dropped his $51 million dollar lawsuit against Cash Money Records.

Back in January, Lil Wayne filed the lawsuit, alleging that his label owed him millions of dollars in backpay. He also expressed his frustration with Cash Money’s refusal to release Tha Carter V and asked that he be released from his contract.

Cash Money Records is not in the clear just yet, however. Lil Wayne allegedly dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice, which means he could easily refile the lawsuit in a new location (which is likely).
