Lana Del Rey is one artist you don’t have to expect any essays on gender equality from.

Not because she doesn’t believe in gender equality, but because she’s ‘not really that interested’ in feminism.

In a new interview with Fader, Lana shares her views on the feminism movement.

‘For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept,’ she told the publication.

‘I’m more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what’s going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities.’.

‘Whenever people bring up feminism, I’m like, god. I’m just not really that interested,’ she explained.

‘My idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants,’ she said, articulating precisely what feminism is aiming to achieve.
