The “Vanderpump Rules” star stated that she did not intend to shade Fox, who skipped the film premiere despite starring in it, by blocking her out of a photo on Instagram.

“I am not very subtle when I shade people,” Kent, 30, told Access Hollywood on Friday. “If I was upset, I would have just straight up said it.”

The photo in question originally appeared on Kent’s Instagram story, showing Kent posing with a poster for the movie — but standing right in front of where Fox, 35, was pictured.

To make matters worse, Kent added a black box directly over where Fox’s name appeared on the poster to instead write, “So excited for this!”

Kent explained that the truth behind the photo is actually much less interesting.

“My mom quickly took a picture of me, I was just standing next to the poster. She said, ‘Pose. I want to get a picture.’ I quickly said I am excited for the movie and posted it and then went in to watch the film.”

Kent attended the premiere in support of her boyfriend, the director of “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” Randall Emmett.

Fox skipped the film’s premiere in Los Angeles due to the rising cases of COVID-19, according to a statement from her rep provided to Variety.

“Due to the recent California mask mandate and rise of COVID cases, Megan Fox will no longer be attending the premiere tonight,” her rep shared. “We appreciate your understanding.”

Megan tends to mind her business, but she’s definitely not the one to be played with. She will let you know!
