Kylie Jenner Accused of Faking 'Billionaire' Status By Forging Tax Returns, Forbes Says She's Actually Not a Billionaire

Forbes published an article on Friday morning accusing Kylie Jenner of lying about her finances as they pertain to Kylie Cosmetics and say they were wrong — she’s not a billionaire.

“Earlier this year, Kylie Jenner sold half of her cosmetics company in one of the greatest celebrity cash-outs of all time,” the article stated. “But the deal’s fine print reveals that she has been inflating the size and success of her business. For years.”

The article then goes on to accuse Kylie and Kris Jenner of forging tax returns.

“During meetings at Kris Jenner’s palatial Hidden Hills, California, estate and the family accountant’s office nearby, Forbes was shown tax returns detailing $307 million in 2016 revenues and personal income of more than $110 million for Kylie that year. It would have been enough to put her at N0. 2 on the Celebrity 100 list, behind only Taylor Swift, the accountant was quick to point out. But the documents, despite looking authentic and bearing Kylie Jenner’s signature, weren’t exactly convincing since the story they told, of e-commerce brand Kylie Cosmetics growing from nothing to $300 million in sales in a single year, was hard to believe.”

Forbes estimates Kylie’s net worth as being just shy of a billion dollars, but they’ve revoked her “billionaire” status.

“Taking all this new information into account and factoring in the pandemic,Forbes has recalculated Kylie’s net worth and concluded that she is not a billionaire. A more realistic accounting of her personal fortune puts it at just under $900 million, despite the headlines surrounding the Coty deal that seemed to confirm her billionaire status.”

Kylie took to Twitter to respond to the claims.

Fans began to call Kylie out for addressing this, but not the senseless killing of George Floyd — but Kylie reminded fans that she did.

The post she’s referring to was shared just a few hours prior on Instagram.

since watching the most devastating and completely heartbreaking video showing the murder of George Floyd earlier this week I haven’t been able to get his face and his words out of my mind. i’ll never personally experience the pain and fear that many black people around the country go through every day but i know nobody should have to live in fear and nobody deserves a death like George Floyd and too many others. speaking up is long overdue for the rest of us. we’re currently dealing with two horrific pandemics in our country, and we can’t sit back and ignore the fact that racism is one of them. i fear for my daughter and i hope for a better future for her. my heart breaks for George Floyd’s family and friends. Don’t let his name be forgotten. keep sharing, keep watching, keep speaking out, because it’s the only way we can come together to help bring this much needed change and awareness. Rest In Peace, George Floyd. ??
