Kelly Rowland arguably has one of the best bodies in the music industry. She looks flawless on this month’s cover of SHAPE magazine.
In the mag, she talks about what it takes to maintain her body and shares a few tips that keeps her looking extra tight.
“I work out five or six times a week. I feel better, look better, sleep better,” she says. “As I’m getting older, the Rowland family trait of having bigger bottoms is taking its toll on my hips and butt. The other day, [my trainer] had me doing squats that were so hard I wanted to kill her. But my behind is getting higher and tighter. Exercise really does change your body.”
She also sheds some light on why she waited 10 years to get breast implants.
‘I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyoncé’s mom told me to really think about it first,’ the now-32-year-old told Shape magazine. ‘I took their advice and waited 10 years.’
‘Once I felt ready, I tried on padded bras and walked around in them to see how it would feel,’ she said. ‘You have to know what you’re getting, no matter what type of surgery it is.’
That’s great advice!
