Kanye West Demands Apology From Drake After Drake Asks for a Sample Clearance + Drake Responds

Drake and Kanye West are still at odds and Kanye took to Twitter to air some things out.

First, Kanye shared a text he received that claims Drake is looking to clear “Say What’s Real” from his 2009 mixtape So Far Gone.

The song samples Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak song “Say You Will.”

“This proves shit faker than wrestling,” tweeted Kanye before launching into a series of tweets about Drake.

In tweets, Kanye says that he wants an apology for dissing his shoes on “No Stylist,” he claims he’s been trying to meet up with Drake for six months to no avail, and he accuses Drake of buying the first two rows of Pusha-T concert tickets.

After about 20 minutes of tweeting, Drake apparently called Kanye. “Drake finally called,” said Ye, adding, “Mission accomplished.”

We don’t know what they talked about, but Kanye returned to Twitter to let everyone know he did NOT clear the sample.

“By the way… not cleared,” he wrote with the crying laughing emoji.

Drake has seemingly responded to Kanye’s tweets. He shared laughing emojis on Instagram Stories just minutes after Kanye claimed they spoke on the phone.

Update: Kanye West isn’t finished. He says Drake tried to threaten him.
