Kandi Burruss is breaking her silence on the allegations against T.I. and Tiny.
Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ Kandi was asked directly what her thoughts were on the allegations against her good friend and her good friend’s husband and, as always, Kandi kept it real.
“I don’t really wanna speak on the situation. What I wanna say is that..when people put out any rumor about somebody right now, it’s like, this society has become ‘a you’re guilty until proven innocent instead of you’re innocent until proven guilty’ and I do not like that,” Kandi said.
She continued:
“They’re like family to me. Obviously Tiny and I grew up together. Because of what was said on our show [The Real Housewives of Atlanta] before, people always try to wrap me up into any rumor that happens now. I wanna say I don’t like that. I don’t like when people start rumors on folk. And, um, I would like for society to stop being so quick to try to make somebody guilty without really taking the time to really get real facts or anything.”
Closing out her stance, Kandi made it clear these are new allegations to her and that she has no personal experience with what’s being alleged right now.
“I don’t like what’s happening and I’ll just leave it at that. What I will say is Tiny’s my ‘sister’ and I’ve never personally seen her do any of that.”
T.I. and Tiny have been accused of several improper actions including sexual assault, drugging, kidnapping, and violence. Famed attorney Lisa Bloom is said to be representing two of the accusers.
The couple has vehemently denied all allegations.
