Jeremih returned to social media on Wednesday, days after leaving Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital amid his battle with COVID-19.
“THANK GOD IM STILL HERE, THANK YA’LL FOR THE ?? UP,” the 33-year-old crooner captioned a pair of photos on Instagram.
He also added the hasthag, “Im backkkk.”
In mid-November, Jeremih was in the ICU and on a ventilator, TMZ reported at the time. Later in the month, he had been moved out of the intensive care unit but was still battling the virus.
On Saturday, Jeremih — whose real name is Jeremy Phillip Felton — confirmed he had been released from the hospital and would recouperate at home.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful,” the R&B star told TMZ in a statement.
Jeremih and pal Chance the Rapper are slated to drop a Christmas album, “Merry Christmas Lil Mama: The Gift That Keeps on Giving,” on Friday.
Really happy to see that Jeremih is home and recovering, maybe he should been a little more responsible after everything he went through and wore a mask for that picture of him getting his hair cut.
