Jennifer Hudson is returning home to where it all began.
According to show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, Jennifer will perform at this year’s Academy Awards.
“We’re creating several musical sequences for the Oscars, and we couldn’t be happier that our friend, Jennifer Hudson, will be performing in one of them.”
In case you forgot, Jennifer won Best Supporting Actress for her breakthrough role as Effie White in the 2006 film Dreamgirls.
The Academy Awards airs on February 22 on ABC.
