It's All Good: Sevyn Streeter to Perform National Anthem in 'We Matter' Jersey at Another Sixers Game

The 76ers and Sevyn Streeter have come to an agreement after the team prevented the singer from singing the national anthem wearing a jersey with the words ‘We Matter’ on the front just a few weeks ago.

The team received a great deal of backlash after the Sevyn released a video detailing the incident and has since apologized.

They’ve also invited her back to perform the anthem wearing the controversial jersey at the Sixers’ home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 16.

Sevyn announced the amicable resolution on Instagram.

Onwards & Upwards. Thank you all for your support ????#WeMatter
