Good Deed: Big Sean’s Foundation Donates $15K To Help Combat Homelessness

Big Sean’s The Sean Anderson Foundation has donated $15,000 to benefit Wayne State University’s HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program to provide short-term support to students experiencing homelessness or difficult housing situations.

via Daily Detroit:

Students in the program receive short-term assistance with the goal of returning students to long-term stability and helping them complete their degree.

This is the second gift from the Sean Anderson Foundation, created by recording artist Big Sean in support of the HIGH Program.

Back in 2016, the foundation created a $25,000 endowment for the program, showing recording artist and Detroit native Big Sean’s commitment to improving the quality of life of young people.

The HIGH Program was founded in 2013 by Wayne State’s first lady Jacqueline Wilson as a strategic response to this issue at Wayne State after she had met a Wayne State student who had experienced homelessness while attending school.

We applaud Big Sean for giving back!
