It should be perfectly clear in 2017 that blackface in any way, shape, form, or fashion is intolerable.

Still, soccer star Antoine Griezmann thought it would be a good idea to cover himself in brown makeup to dress up as an NBA player for an 80s-themed party.

The photo hasn’t been up for very long — just 25 minutes as of this writing — but we imagine he’ll end up issuing some sort of apology for his ignorance.

Or maybe he won’t. Who knows.
