She’s Penny Proud, she’s cute and she’s loud — and she’s STILL got it goin’ on!

After months of rumors and speculation, Disney+ has officially announced the return of ‘The Proud Family.’

The revival is officially titled ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ and will take place right where the family left off 15 years ago — albeit with some updated technology.

The first-look concept art is above.

The original series’ entire voice cast is returning for the revival, with Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer and Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez and Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby Proud.

The oft-troubled Orlando Brown nor his character Sticky Webb have been included in the announcement.

Creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and EP Ralph Farquhar will return alongside co-executive producer and story editor Calvin Brown, Jr.

“In our minds, the show never really went away, as we still had tons of stories left to tell,” Smith and Farquhar said in a statement. “It’s the perfect time to bring back this show, and we can’t wait to take fans, old and new alike, on this journey with us.”

Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, said,

“The genius of the original ‘Proud Family’ series was that, under the guise of a family comedy, it provided a brilliant social commentary on our life and times.  With this new series, Bruce and Ralph will once again challenge everyone to think differently about the world we share.”

We can’t wait! Now all we need is for Solange + Destiny’s Child to get back in the studio and give us an updated theme song!
