Rapper Fetty Wap, who was arrested on a drug trafficking charge last week, is being released from custody on $500,000 bond.

The “Trap Queen” rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, posted a $500,000 bond following a hearing in Long Island federal court and agreed to surrender his passport and submit to drug testing and GPS monitoring as conditions of his release.
Federal court documents show Fetty Wap also agreed to not leave New York City, Long Island, New Jersey or travel for “professional tours” without the court’s permission, and he’ll refrain from contacting his co-defendants unless their attorneys are present.
Last Thursday, the New Jersey-born rap star was cuffed by FBI agents moments before he was slated to appear on stage for the three-day Rolling Loud tour at Citi Field on allegations he and a cadre of associates ran a drug trafficking ring between June 2019 and June 2020.
The feds allege Fetty Wap, who infamously bragged about cooking crack in his lyrics, was part of an operation that trafficked at least 100 kilos of opioids, crack and cocaine from the West Coast and then sold the drugs in his home state and Long Island.
Images released by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office show the massive haul of drugs and cash law enforcement seized after executing a search warrant against the defendants.
All in, the feds seized $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, numerous fentanyl pills, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol and ammunition.
The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 24.
