Have Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty gone their separate ways?
According to internet rumor, one of Kenneth’s friends let slip that Nicki and Kenny have ended their marriage.
Adding further fuel to the fire, fans pointed out that Nicki quietly removed Kenneth’s name from her social media profiles. On Twitter, Nicki’s display name is no longer “Mrs. Petty” and has been changed to “Yikes.”
Their split has yet to be confirmed, but fans are already running with excitement on Twitter.
Sources close to Nicki tell Page Six that they’re still together.
“Nicki Minaj is still with her man. It’s just business as usual for her highness as she prepares to release new music.”
Considering Yikes dropped months ago, it’s unclear as to why Nicki would drop her husband’s name to to promote an old single.
