Sources exclusively tell lovebscott.com that OWN has decided to cancel the second season of ‘Love Is__.’
It’s unclear the exact cause, but sources say that it’s partly due to the lawsuit/scandal involving show creator Salim Akil.
In November, Amber Dixon Brenner filed a lawsuit against Salim Akil and OWN claiming domestic violence and breach of contract. Her claims allege that Salim was physically, verbally, and sexually abusive to her during their romantic relationship.
She has since dropped her suit against the network.
