Drake’s ‘Views’ is a major hit on streaming services.
After topping the Billboard 200 for the fourth straight week, it’s being reported that in these four weeks the album has racked up over 1 BILLION streams.
via Billboard:
As previously noted, Views is a streaming powerhouse, and currently owns the four largest streaming weeks for an album. In total, the album’s tracks have now generated more than 1 billion on-demand audio streams in the U.S. — 1.07 billion to be more exact. (The latest tracking week pushed the album over the 1 billion mark, as it added more than 160 million streams to its total tally.) Comparably, other albums with more than a billion streams include Justin Bieber’s Purpose (1.38 billion on-demand audio streams for its tracks), The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness (1.31 billion) and Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (1.06 billion).
That’s impressive.
