After Peter Thomas was caught on camera kissing another woman in he and his wife’s Charlotte sports bar, it was only a matter of time before Cynthia Bailey was forced to address what she and the rest of the world saw.
On Wednesday, Cynthia stopped by an Atlanta radio station (V-103) to address the incriminating footage, and she also released an exclusive statement to Us Weekly.

“My marriage is not perfect. We’re going to deal with this issue as husband and wife. Most marriages go through their share of challenges, and ups and downs. Peter and I are no exception. I felt the video was inappropriate, and embarrassing. I expect him to accept full accountability for his actions. We are coming up on our five-year wedding anniversary and we will deal with this situation as husband and wife. I appreciate everyone’s well wishes, and concerns.”
Cynthia was a tad more forthcoming when speaking to V-103’s Ryan Cameron about the matter.
“Well, I wasn’t there. I saw the video like everyone else. It seemed like he was kissing some [un]identified woman on her cheek. Um, you know, I mean, when I saw the video I thought it was inappropriate. It’s unfortunate that, you know, you have people filming you with phones everywhere you go when you’re on a reality show, but it is what it is. I don’t think it’s grounds for a divorce.”
She continued.
“I mean, you know, it’s interesting. I had, I mean, people looked at it that I knew, and they were like, ‘I don’t really see nothing; I think it’s pretty harmless.’ But I looked at it and was like, ‘Well, I mean, it’s inappropriate.’ But it’s not like I’m getting ready to do a ‘Waiting to Exhale’ and set his clothes on fire, but we gon’ talk about some things. I’ma need him to be a little more careful about who he’s kissing on or looking like he’s kissing on or putting his hands on the neck or grazing the breast or all that stuff.”
