Michael B. Jordan’s latest flick Creed didn’t top the box office this Thanksgiving weekend (it landed at No.3), it DID break records for the Rocky film franchise.
According to reportsCreed brought in in a stellar $42.6 million over the last five days ($30.1 million in the first three days) making it the highest grossing opening for a Rocky film.
To put it in perspective, the movie cost $35 million to make — so in box office terms, that’s a success!
