The unidentified man reportedly traveled to Los Angeles from South Carolina and showed up at her Beverly Hills home to propose to the singer, according to TMZ.

Rihanna’s security team called the police, who arrived and put the man in handcuffs and placed him in a squad car.

It was determined that the man – clad in a red Nike hoodie – ultimately had not broken any laws and was sent away and told not to return.

It is not clear if the singer – who was spotted out on Wednesday shopping for baby items – was home at the time of the incident.

This incident comes nearly five years after another scary incident, where a strange man actually entered her home while she was out of town.

Back in May 2018, Los Angeles police were dispatched to the singer’s home after reports of a potential intruder.

They found 26-year-old Eduardo Leon of Orange County inside her home, and he had been there at least a full day before he was ultimately tased and taken into custody.

Authorities added that he had somehow disabled the singer’s alarm system and gotten inside, even unpacking his bag and charging his phone during his illegal stay.

It is believed that Leon even broke into another home just days earlier, thinking it was Rihanna’s home.

He was ultimately arrested on charges of stalking, residential burglary and trespassing and was held on $150,000 bail.

The singer shocked the world at the Super Bowl in early February when she revealed she was pregnant while taking the stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The Barbados native showed off her baby bump while performing at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona in February.

The singer also performed earlier in March at the 95th Academy Awards in Hollywood, singing her Oscar-nominated song Lift Me Up from the Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

She ultimately lost to songwriters M.M. Keeravani and Chandrabose for the hit song from the Indian epic RRR, Naatu Naatu.

Rihanna hasn’t released a new album since 2016’s Anti, though there is talk that her long-awaited next album may debut sometime in 2023.

There has also been talk that she will also launch a stadium tour in 2023 in support of the new album.

The title of the album and tour – which would be her first since the Anti World Tour in 2016 – have not been revealed at this time.

It was also revealed earlier this month that she’s teaming her Fenty fashion brand with Puma for another iconic collaboration.

Rihanna was named as Puma’s creative director in 2014, though they haven’t collaborated together since 2017.

That was also the same year that she launched Fenty Beauty and took the cosmetics industry by storm.
