Beyoncé and Jay-Z chose to remain seating during Demi Lovato’s rendition of The National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV — and Colin Kaepernick isn’t amused.
After the story of their decision to sit began to circulate, Colin shared an Instagram story questioning the decision.
The story also referenced a quote from Jay-Z’s press conference following his decision to partner with the league.
If you recall, Jay said “We’re past kneeling.”
We don’t know if The Carters’ decision to sit was an active political statement or, like those around them, they were just enjoying the comfort of their seats.
