Chris Brown’s new album ‘Royalty’ is expected to sell 125-135k copies (150-160k including streams) in its first week of release in the United States.
While that’s a pretty decent number by today’s R&B standards, Chris feels he should be selling more and has taken to social media to chastise his ‘fans’.
First, he posted and deleted the following tweet on Instagram:
I'm confused how Chris can post a selfie of him & Royalty can get 200 – 300 likes, but some fan's wouldn't buy his shit for 4.99 or stream?

If you missed it, Chris dropped his album down to $4.99 for a limited time to boost sales.
Then, Chris went on a bit of a rant this morning on Twitter calling out ‘fake fans’ and asking for support.

If I fail on my own I can can learn from that. I will not allow someone else to dictate my faith in God. Believe in yourself

No shade, but Chris has no one to blame but his team. Let’s not forget he released a 30+ track mixtape the week before his album. Plus, he released a good 4-5 songs from the album before it hit anyone’s shelves.
