Boosie Badazz is tired of playing tug-of-war with Instagram and Mark Zuckerberg. As a result, he’s calling on Black billionaires to create an app that rivals the ’gram.

Another post of a previous Instagram live session captured Boosie making a similar call to action.
“Start y’all own Instagram. Let me get part in the ownership. Let me be the face of it,” he said. “I’mma run that motherfucka. That’s what y’all need to do. All the billionaires — I ain’t got the money. I ain’t got the money. I’m tryin’ to work on an app right now… I gotta figure it out.”
Boosie’s raunchy Instagram Live sessions during quarantine caught heat from Instagram, who deactivated his account back in March. Since that particular occurrence, the rapper’s experience on the ‘gram has included several deactivations, pleas to get his page restored and most recently, allegations of racial discrimination.
Back in September, after his Instagram Live session on an alternate account was shut down, the Louisiana star accused the platform of targeting him for his race. “I STARTED A NEW IG @boosienewig n they stopped my live soon as shaderoom posted it,” he tweeted at the time. “I HAVEN’T POSTED NOTHIN R WENT LIVE. This is discrimination/racial etc. IM SUING.”
During a more recent rant, he labeled Zuckerberg a racist for suspending his account after he shared a post offering money to any participant willing to take a blow to the face. Boosie also claims his Instagram account was deactivated for posting photos of liquor and loved ones who have passed away.
THEY TAKE MY IG FOR POSTING MY LIQUOR ,FOR POSTIN MY DEAD HOMIES ??THEY DONT WANT US TO EAT ??THEY DONT WANT US TO SMILE ??THEY WONT DO THAT TO WHITE ENTERTAINERS FOR POSTIN THEIR PRODUCT R POSTING THEIR FRIENDS WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY ?????

Boosie has had his Instagram taken down and disabled on several occasions. Most recently, his page was deleted after he posted behind the scenes footage of him slapping a man for his single “Period” with DaBaby.
