We knew it was only a matter of time before Bobbi Kristina or her husband Nick Gordon said something totally off the wall regarding Lifetime’s upcoming Whitney Houston biopic.
The other day on Twitter, Bobbi popped all the way off in response to comments Angela Bassett made to Entertainment Weekly. When asked about why Angela never gave thought to casting Bobbi Kristina to play her mother (ANTM alum Yaya DeCosta got the lead), Angela said:
No, I did not think about that. I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft. It’s an attempt to illuminate the complexities of human behavior and life. And this is a very fast-paced schedule; we have just 21 days to tell this story. It’s more than just saying lines and turning the light on. You have to drive the story—there’s a technical aspect.
Krissy caught wind of Angela’s comments and let loose. She took to Twitter and proceeded to blast Ms. Bassett before later deleting her tweets. She said:
We don’t expect Angela to dignify this with a response — but you never know.
