Birdman sat down with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez and opened up about his ongoing dispute with Cash Money’s Lil Wayne — who’s been signed to Cash Money since he was 9-years-old.
In a preview, Birdman had nothing but nice things to say about Weezy.
“You never thought Wayne would be saying nothing negative about me in no lifetime,” said Birdman. “I never thought that could ever happen — for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me. I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life.”
Well, that didn’t stop Birdman from ‘allegedly’ plotting to kill Lil Wayne with Young Thug — nor did it stop Birdman from suing Tidal for releasing Wayne’s Free Weezy Album.
Not only did Birdman discuss his relationship with Wayne, he says that as far as Cash Money’s other big artists Nicki Minaj and Drake, he says “Nicki and Drake ain’t going nowhere, regardless.”
