As each day goes by, Bill Cosby’s legacy is being destroyed by dozens of sexual abuse allegations.

For the first time, Bill Cosby is actually addressing the allegations — but instead of taking responsibility, he asks that Black media remain neutral.

According to Page Six, a Black reporter from the NY Post called the Cosby’s Massachusetts home Bill Cosby actually got on the phone.

He told the reporter:

“Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.”

He then made a few comments about his wife.

“Love and the strength of womanhood. Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.”

The reporter then says Bill cut off the conversation, saying, “They don’t want me talking to the media.”

How is it that Bill Cosby expects black media to remain neutral when we’ve really only been given stories and facts to support his accusers? Whatever his side of the stories may be, we don’t know them.
