With cast announcements continuing to trickle out, it’s clear that Barbershop 3 is shaping up to be an even bigger success than its predecessors.
Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer are set to reprise their lead roles in the film; hip-hop artist Common recently joined the party; and now black-ish star Anthony Anderson and Regina Hall have signed on to appear in the Barbershop franchise’s third outing.
Anthony is not new to the Barbershop franchise; he portrayed an ATM thief named JD in the first film and will reprise that role in Barbershop 3.
Regina will portray Angie, the woman in charge of the beauty shop area of the barbershop.
Malcolm D. Lee will direct the film, while Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver are set to pen the script.
We’re so here for Barbershop 3!
