Angela Bassett is reportedly set to become one of FOX’s leading ladies.
According to various reports, the Oscar-nominated actress will topline a FOX drama series from Glee creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Titled “911,” the drama is a procedural about 911 operators and the calls that come through the emergency telephone number, with stories inspired by calls. Additional details are being kept under wraps.
911 is expected to score a 13-episode inaugural season and premiere next spring.
Angela has co-starred in the last four seasons of FX’s American Horror Story.
